The story in one paragraph
The Apple Watch depth sensor was built for freedivers and scuba apps. Plask points it at the bathtub instead: pixel-art rubber ducks paddle across the watch face while you bathe or swim, and because the depth data is real, the ducks dive when you do — with live depth, max depth and water temperature along the bottom. On Apple Watch Ultra the app even launches itself the moment your wrist goes under. It's free, the premium scenes cost $1.99 exactly once, and the whole thing collects no data at all. Made by one developer in Gothenburg who felt Sweden's most serious wearable deserved something less serious.

For reviewers
You don't need a bathtub. Demo mode ("Try a Dive") drives the water with the Digital Crown, on any Apple Watch — couch, desk, or train. Real submersion always takes over automatically on depth-gauge watches.

About the maker
Danni Efraim is a developer and founder of Compiled, a software studio in Gothenburg, Sweden. Plask is what happened when a Gothenburg summer met Apple's most serious sensor — and it is comfortably the least serious app Compiled has shipped.
